Our Story

Started on one island.
Built for every island.

Isla Viva began in K. Huraa, a fishing village a short speedboat ride from Malé, where our founders kept meeting travelers searching for the Maldives that locals actually live.

Today we work directly with guesthouse owners and boat captains across the Maldives — so the money travelers spend stays where they're standing, on the islands that earned it.

We're a small, locally-run team. When you message us, you talk directly to the people doing the work.
